CHILD SAFETY WEEK

 

Each year we participate in Child Safety Week - this is a national event run by the Child Accident Prevention Trust.

 

Child Safety Week this year takes place between the 5th - 11th June with the theme 'Safety Made Simple'. 

 

In previous years we have attended local baby clinics/parenting groups with a display giving parents/carers information on a wide range of accidents that can occur within the home and preventative steps that can be taking to reduce the risk of these happening.  We also took part in the 'Big Taste Test' where parents/carers are given the change to find out more about 'Bitrex' and a chance to taste it.  Bitrex is a bittering agent that is added to many household cleaning products.
