EAST LOTHIAN SCHOOL UNIFORM BANK

 

We aim to ensure that every child in East Lothian has access to suitable school uniform.

​

If you are a family in need of uniform items for you child(ren) or are working with a family in need of items please get in touch.

​

We also accept donations of NEW or NEARLY NEW items that are in excellent condition - please don't donate anything that you wouldn't use yourself.  All donations will be distributed  to families throughout East Lothian who are referred to us.

Please consider all ages when making a donation.

Donations can be handed into our office at 9 Elphinstone Road, Tranent, EH33 2LG.  If you have more that a carrier bag or two then please contact us prior to dropping off to ensure that we have storage space available.

​

We also have an Amazon Wishlist if you wish to purchase a specific item directly.   We also accept donations of Gift Cards which will then be used to purchase items of uniform as requested - ASDA, Tesco. M&S, etc.

As we rely on monetary donations to purchase NEW school items, all donations are gratefully received.   You can make a donation by bank transfer or cheque - please contact us for further information on this.

Winter Jackets/Footwear

 

Due to successful funding we are also able to offer new winter jackets/footwear for your child(ren).  Please get in touch if you would  like more information on this.

School Clothing Grant

​

If eligible, you may also be entitled to apply for a school clothing grant of £130.00 (primary school) / £160.00 (secondary school) from East Lothian Council.  Further information on this and how to apply can be found here.
